Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information MW MARKETERS ("MW Marketers", "we", "us") collects on mwmarketers.com, why we collect it and what you can do about it. We keep it short and specific to how this site works.
1. Information we collect
Contact form
When you send us a message we collect your name, company email address, website address, the service you are asking about, your message, and your IP address. The form accepts company email addresses only.
SEO audit orders
When you ask for a page count or order an SEO audit we collect the website address you enter, your name and email address, and the details of your order, such as the page count, the price tier and any add on you choose.
Payments
We invoice through Zoho Invoice and you pay through PayPal. Your card or bank details are handled by PayPal. We never see or store them. We receive the invoice details and confirmation that payment was made.
Technical data
Like most websites, our server and security tools process your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so the site loads and stays secure.
2. How we use information
- To reply to your message and send you a quote.
- To count your pages, run your audit and deliver your report.
- To send invoices and payment confirmations.
- To protect the site from spam, bots and abuse.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising.
3. Services we use to run the site
We share information only with providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:
- Hostinger, which hosts the website.
- Cloudflare, which helps protect our forms from bots and abuse.
- An email delivery service, which sends our replies and notifications.
- Zoho Invoice and PayPal, for invoices and payments.
- Google Fonts, which loads the typefaces on our pages and so receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Gravatar, which may show an author picture and so receives a request when a page with an author box loads.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights.
4. Cookies and analytics
The site uses the cookies needed for it to work, for example to keep the admin area secure. At the time of writing we do not run advertising cookies or a third party analytics service. The site may count page views of blog posts on its own server. If we add analytics later, we will update this page first.
5. How long we keep information
We keep contact messages for as long as needed to answer you and for up to 24 months afterwards. We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Audit reports are kept so we can support you after delivery. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it. If you live in California, or in another place with privacy laws, you may have further rights, including the right not to be treated differently for using them. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. To make a request, use our contact page and write "Privacy request" in the message. We will reply within 30 days.
7. Security
We use HTTPS, a bot check on our forms and access controls on our systems. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
8. Children
Our services are for businesses. The site is not meant for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Links to other sites
Our pages link to other websites, for example our LinkedIn page. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
10. Where information is processed
Our providers may store and process information in countries other than yours, including the United States and Canada. By using the site you understand that your information may be transferred there.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the effective date.
